Actor and radio host Fabrizio with theatrical and radio technician Maria Chiara have installed an entire audio/video studio on their campervan, enabling the broadcast of radio programmes from everywhere in Europe.
After touring in Italy for 27 years and over 2,700 shows, in 2022 ITINERARIA TEATRO decided to focus on a new show intended for a young audience and called “ITALIANI 2.0”, which will make its debut after the theatre company comes back, early next year.
A new topic, Europa, and a new way to enjoy the show: live multimedia streaming and guests reporting from all over Europe; a performance that will also be the result of the experience acquired during the lockdown.
Fabrizio: “We have spent two years living online, inside strengthened borders and keeping our distance; now we all wish to get to know other people, meet and talk. Today Maria Chiara and me feel the need to go and see, and to show our audience - especially the young - the big changes that are occurring and the benefits of being a part of Europe, this great project aiming at freedom and at civil and cultural growth.”
Maria Chiara: “However, new borders and walls in Europe have started to deny women and men freedom, thus creating despair e suffering. We can’t look the other way.”
The Itineraria campervan will leave from Cologno Monzese (Milan) on 21st March - spring equinox - and will come back after 9 months, on 21st December 2022, winter solstice.
The TOUR will cover THREE SEASONS and three areas: West, North and East Europe.
Spring 2022: Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, Monaco, France, Andorra, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Great Britain and Ireland;
Summer 2022: Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia;
Autumn 2022: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Moldavia, Serbia and Hungary.

The EURO TOUR was created with the aim of creating a new show, which will constitute the 29th production of the Compagnia Teatrale Itineraria and will be taken on tour in 2023.
